Summer Program News

Here’s the latest news from BJC!

SUMMER REGISTRATION: Opens on Tuesday, April 27 at 7:00 am on the BJC website here. Programs are first come first served and fill quickly.

SUMMER PROGRAM OPTIONS: (Read our program web pages.)

Young Devo: Bike skills for age 6-8. Practice one day per week. Choose Wednesdays or Saturdays. June 15-July 31.

Devo MTB: Mountain biking for age 9-14. June 7– July 29 (8 weeks, 16 practices). Choose Tues/Thurs or Mon/Wed. Riders must have a minimum of 26” wheels and disc brakes.

Shredders: Athletes are asked to complete a non-competitive application process, deadline is May 1. This is an enduro and gravity program for skilled and experienced riders ages 12-18. June 7-July 28 (8 weeks, 16 practices) Practices Mon/Wed. A full suspension mountain bike with a minimum 130 mm of rear travel is required. All riders must contact Shredders Lead Coach Ben Robles by May 1 to apply to the team. (We suggest you register for Devo MTB in addition to your Shredders application if you are unsure you meet the criteria for this team.)

Red Squad: Competitive MTB and Road team for experienced high schoolers. March 2 -July 18 (20 weeks) This program is full for the season.

Registration Tips:

-Please study the details about each individual program before you sign up.

Test the process in advance on this mock registration.

-You must attend at minimum 12 of the 16 practices. Prorated fees are not offered.

-Programs are capped and fill quickly.

-The names of carpool partners can be entered during registration but we can’t promise all requests can be met.

-Devo MTB riders must have a minimum of 26” wheels and disc brakes.

-Registration is thru Team Snap.

-When you register, you’ll be prompted to create an account or use an existing Team Snap account.

-The account must be in the parent’s name, not the athlete!

-You will need a digital photo of the athlete ready to upload when you register.
