It is your responsibility to know and understand these registration policies upon registering for a program.
Alert: Change in Policy Due to COVID
Cancelations and Refunds: Due to the continued financial strain of the pandemic, we have modified our Cancelations and Refunds policy. In the event a program is canceled due to COVID-19 BEFORE the start of the program, we will issue a 50% refund to all registered participants, less processing fees. If a program is canceled due to COVID-19 AFTER the start of the program, NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL BE GIVEN. We’ll always strive to adapt and improvise, and cancelation will only be an absolute last resort.
Early Cancellations: Cancellations submitted in writing to the executive director 7 or more days before the start of the program will have registration fees credited for the next upcoming program season. (No refunds.)
Late Cancellations: Cancellations submitted in writing to the executive director less than 7 days before the start of the program are considered late cancellations. Registration fees may only be partially credited. No refunds. The amount credited for late cancellations may vary at the discretion of the executive director depending on the circumstances of the cancellation. Typically, credit amounts for late cancellations will not exceed 50% of the registration fee.
Injuries or Illness or Exceptional Circumstances: Prorated credits will be considered in the event of injury or severe illness or exceptional circumstances. Riders must miss more than 50% of the practices and parents must inform the BJC executive director of diagnosis/prognosis immediately. No refunds.
No Shows: Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for any no-shows to a program.
Program Alterations or Cancellations by BJC: Note that circumstances beyond the control of BJC may necessitate the substitutions, alterations, or even cancellations of a program. In the event that a program must be altered or cancelled, credits or refunds may be issued at the discretion of the executive director depending on the circumstances of the cancellation.
Bad Weather: We almost NEVER cancel practice due to bad weather. We ride in the rain and snow! Be ready! Please dress for the conditions that day! This will range from very hot to very cold, and include rain, snow, wind, sleet, etc. When trails are too muddy to ride, we’ll ride at other locations. In the case of extreme weather we will cancel practice, but it almost never happens. We do not provide make up days.
