KMC Classic, by Jacob Carter-Gibb

Basically I got the HOLE SHOT! Then proceed to explode and just go backwards.

Chris let me stay with him in his hotel and drive down with him. We pre-rode on Saturday and it was a really fun course and we scoped out some really good lines.
On race day I could tell that It was going to be similar to the go pro games, my legs were not 100%. However, I managed to get a good warm up and a good starting position. I sprinted past everyone and lead out the starting loop.
It was really awesome to be out in the front with Kyle and the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory kids.
This wasted my legs pretty fast and I didn’t really have the depth I need anyways so I just sort of sat up and raced with the girls and cat 3 men.
DFL but not DNF
I was pretty happy with the weekend all in all and I’m really looking forward to riding with the jr. team on Monday.
