Here’s what you need to know for the 2026 BJC Adult Cyclocross Club.

WELCOME TO SEASON 2 !
We’re excited to kick off the second season of the BJC Adult Cyclocross Club.
Whether you’re a BJC parent or alumni, a former racer getting back into it, or completely new to cyclocross, this club is a chance to ride, learn, and have fun!
No cost. No prerequisites. No pressure. Just come ride!

First Club Practice: Wednesday, September 23, 7:30 am Valmont Bike Park. (A poll will go out to determine best practice times after the first session)

THIS SEASON
Our goal is to ride, learn, have a good time while getting better on the bike and understanding cyclocross!
We’ll work on:
• Building fitness and meeting new people
• Group rides and skills sessions
• Barriers, dismounts, and remounts
• Cornering and bike handling
• Riding varied terrain
• Getting race-ready for those who want to race
• Most importantly — having fun and staying healthy!

OPTIONAL RACING
Interested in racing?
We’ll target a few local cyclocross events throughout the season. BJC coaches will provide pre-ride support and help you get comfortable with the course, skills, and race-day experience.
Racing is completely optional!
