We’re Hiring Coaches

Do you love mountain biking and/or cyclocross? Do you like to work with kids? BJC is hiring coaches for 2022.


Overview

  • The main commitment is coaching at two after-school practices per week
  • Choose Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday, 4:15 – 6:15 pm
  • See programs page for datas of each season
  • Positions available for all levels of mountain biking and cyclocross, from beginners to experts, for ages 6-18- Locations vary in Boulder County
  • Pay is hourly based on experience 

Responsibilities

  • Attend practices according to schedule
  • Teach fundamental and advanced cycling skills
  • Provide mentorship and teach life lessons
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches
  • Complete both on-line and in-person coach training
  • Know and follow BJC policies for safety

Qualifications

  • Must be a skilled rider
  • Must have competent bike mechanic skills
  • Have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic
  • Mountain bike instruction certification or training a plus 
  • First Aid, Concussion, Safe Sport certifications required (BJC will cover costs)
