Monthly Recap
We’ve been busy over here at BJC! Over the past month we’ve succeeded in running our Bike-a-Thon fundraiser and event, as well as continuing to prepare to put on Colorado’s premier UCI Cyclocross event, the Boulder Cup!

| BJC Revives the Legend! The Boulder Cup disappeared from the calendar 4 years ago, but BJC stepped up to relaunch the two day UCI weekend. BJC riders and our alumni have a strong tradition of being among the best in the nation, and the Boulder Cup is a big reason for that. We’d love to see you out there! MORE DETAILS:Website, Registration | Want to Get Involved? We’re always in need of more volunteers! The Boulder Cup needs more than 100 volunteers to be successful and you can help! We have plenty of flexible shifts if you’re racing! It’s fun and you’ll get the reward of nurturing our cyclocross future. MORE DETAILS:Volunteer Sign-Up |

Dylan Lewis Shares his thoughts on his BJC experience!
I joined BJC in my early years of high school, not sure if I even wanted to ride bikes, let alone race. I started out on the enduro side and slowly adventured into more disciplines like XC and Road, and I think that is what made me enjoy biking so much. At BJC I had so many amazing opportunities to meet great friends, while trying all sorts of riding in places I never thought I would go. I think that is one thing that makes BJC so unique, the community and experiences take you so much further than any trail or race course could. I am now studying architecture at Montana State University in Bozeman and I have created new passions and great friends thanks to the skills and lessons I learned while on BJC. This season with the Bozeman team we traveled across multiple states, riding for fun and racing, with big days like riding all of Beartooth Pass and racing Collegiate Nats. My first season of college post-BJC was definitely great, but I would never be doing any of this if I hadn’t tried new things out when I was on BJC.

We would love to see all our alums out at Boulder Cup! We also are excited to share an invitation to our end of season party, where you can meet our current athletes, reconnect with coaches and enjoy some food! Lastly we’d love to set up a time for all our alums to get together on zoom and get to know each other and brainstorm how this Newsletter can best serve our community!
