The Boulder Cup has long been one of the premier UCI cyclocross events in the U.S. — and now it’s back, stronger than ever.

Early Bird Registration closes Wednesday Nov. 5 at 10:00 pm. Prices increase by $5 following that date.
Regular Registration closes Wednesday Nov. 12 at 11:59 pm.

Course Map
The race will use the same layout as the 2014 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships, designed by Pete Webber. Expect Valmont’s signature steep hills, technical terrain, and iconic features. (Scroll down for map.)

- Race Day Registration is available, prices increase by $10. It closes 45 minutes before your start.
- Race day registration is NOT available for UCI categories. (UCI 17-18 Juniors, UCI Elite)
- A USA Cycling license is required to race (Note: UCI license is needed for UCI categories)
- Cat 1–4 racers need an annual license. Purchase from USA Cycling
- Beginners and juniors may purchase a $10 one-day license during registration.
- Kids Event for age 6 – 10 (actual age on race day). Meet at the finish line at Noon (no registration needed, no license needed)
- All proceeds support junior cycling

Kids Event for age 6 – 10 (actual age on race day). Meet at the finish line at Noon (no registration needed, no license needed)
Event Notes
- Race Age: Your cyclocross age is your age on 12/31/26.
- Juniors: Please enter junior categories, not adult categories
- Race Day Course Preview: Ride the course between race waves. (UCI Preview at Noon Sat & Sun)
- Friday Course Preview: Opens at 3:00 p.m.
- Start Procedure: One whistle per wave (unless noted on schedule)
- Results split by category.
- Call Ups: Based on Crossresults.com ranking. (UCI categories by UCI points, then random)
- Staging: Begins 10 minutes before each wave.
- Timing: Chip timing; $100 fee if chip not returned.
- Podiums: 5 minutes after each race; top 3 riders per category.
- U23s in the UCI Elite fields will be recognized with a podium for the top 3 riders.
- Awards: Medals for the amateur races; prize money in UCI categories
- Parking: See course map.
- Mountain bikes and any size tire are allowed in the USA Cycling amateur races.
- UCI categories must follow UCI equipment rules. (Restricted to cyclocross bikes and 33 mm max tire width.)

Team Village
Reserve your spot here.
• Small Team Space – $100
Includes 10×10 tent space and room for A-frame bike rack (both days).
• Large Team Space – $200
Includes 20×20 tent space and room for A-frame bike racks (both days).
Spaces are located near the podium and registration area on grass or dirt. No vehicle parking inside the village (drop-offs only). Tents must be fully collapsed overnight, and please don’t leave valuables — no overnight security. Minimum 40-lb weights per corner are required.

This event follows USA Cycling’s SafeSport and MAAPP guidelines to protect athletes from bullying, harassment, and abuse.

Refunds
Event costs are significant and refunds are generally not available. If you cannot participate due to personal circumstances, you may request consideration.
